Single Malt Irish Whiskey

The Sexton Single Malt begins with a nose full of fruity aromas, including apricots and prunes, paired with a surprising touch of printer ink and a mild cheesy note, resembling the rind of a wine-washed cheese.

On the palate, this whiskey is notably smooth and easy-drinking, with a slight sweetness attributed to its aging in Oloroso sherry casks. The primary flavours include bold nougat and spice, complemented by nutty almond and toasty malt. There's a subtlety to its sweetness, making it detectable only upon looking for it.

The finish carries a continuation of the wine-like and nutty characteristics from the palate, lingering with a subtle complexity.

The Sexton Single Malt is an Irish whiskey crafted by master blender Alex Thomas. Made exclusively from Irish malted barley, it is triple-distilled in copper pot stills and aged in Oloroso sherry casks. This aging process lends the whiskey a rich and fruity character, enhancing its smoothness and depth of flavour. The Sexton is known for its unique packaging, featuring a hexagonal black bottle adorned with a skeleton motif, designed to capture the attention and imagination of a modern audience. It is characterized by its approachability and versatility, suitable for enjoying neat, on the rocks, or as part of various cocktails.
