Pastis de Marseille

Ricard Pastis offers a robust aniseed scent complemented by fennel and ginger, creating a rich yet not overly intense aroma.

The palate begins with clear notes of anise and fennel, progressing to a sweeter and slightly astringent mouthfeel with hints of Turkish delight, ginger, and toffee.

It concludes with a medium-long finish, featuring flavors of earth, caraway seed, and caramel.

Ricard is a French brand of pastis, a type of anise-flavored spirit that is especially popular in the south of France. The brand was founded in 1932 by Paul Ricard, who is credited with the invention of this particular style of pastis. His formulation was unique at the time for its flavor derived from a blend of herbs and spices, with star anise being particularly prominent.
