Redbreast is a revered Irish whiskey brand with a rich history that dates back to the early 20th century. The brand name "Redbreast" is said to have been inspired by the robin redbreast bird, a nod to the passion of the chairman of W & A Gilbey, the wine and spirits company that originally marketed the whiskey. This connection with Gilbeys began around 1903, and the brand became known for its quality and distinctive character.
