Penderyn Distillery, based in Wales, plays a significant role in the resurgence of Welsh whisky, a tradition that had been dormant for over a century before Penderyn's emergence. Established in 2000, Penderyn became the first operational whisky distillery in Wales since the early 1900s and began selling its whisky in 2004. The distillery is known for its innovation and commitment to quality, using a unique copper pot still design that contributes to the distinctiveness of its spirits.
