Patrón Tequila, founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley, has distinguished itself as a pioneer in the ultra-premium tequila category. Crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave, Patrón is renowned for its meticulous production process. The brand utilizes traditional techniques like the tahona process, where a two-ton volcanic stone wheel crushes the roasted agave, ensuring a high-quality spirit with deep, complex flavors.
Patrón Añejo Tequila is distinguished by its refined and well-aged profile, making it a favorite for sipping. It is crafted from 100% Weber Blue Agave and aged for over 12 months in a combination of French oak, Hungarian oak, and used American whiskey barrels, resulting in a complex spirit that blends tradition with a distinctive character.
