McConnell's Irish Whiskey holds a venerable place in the history of Irish whiskey production, dating back to 1776. Originally established in Belfast, the brand is one of Ireland's oldest, with its whiskey being renowned for its quality and craftsmanship throughout the centuries. The distillery itself faced numerous challenges, including a devastating fire and the impact of prohibition, which led to its closure in the early 1900s.
