Blended Malt Whisky

The aroma of Kamiki Whisky is an inviting blend of fragrant citrus blossom and baked apple, complemented by hints of balsa wood and dry peat. This bouquet sets a welcoming, almost serene stage for the flavours that follow.

Floral notes are immediately present, accompanied by a symphony of forest floor, apricot, and kumquat. As the experience unfolds, the palate reveals complex and layered textures and flavours that balance the delicate with the earthy.

The finish is slightly peppery with earthy vanilla pod and a subtle whiff of pine, leaving a fresh and lingering impression that encapsulates the unique influence of the Yoshino Sugi (Japanese Cedar) casks.

Kamiki is a unique Japanese whisky that integrates traditional Japanese craftsmanship with innovative maturation techniques. Distilled in the ancient city of Nara, known for its deep spiritual history, Kamiki is aged in Yoshino Sugi casks (Japanese cedar), which is quite rare in whisky production. This method imparts a distinctive smooth texture and a complex flavour profile that includes notes of sandalwood, green tea, and hints of sweet spices. Kamiki also undergoes a secondary maturation process in Sakura wood casks, adding layers of floral and fruity notes to the whisky.
