Red Label 1L

The aroma of Johnnie Walker Red Label features a combination of oak, malt, and a hint of raisin bread, with additional notes of disinfectant and solvent from one source, and lemon zest, lime, and floral tones from another.

On the palate, it offers honey, vanilla, and a small amount of nutmeg, described as having a lightly oily mouthfeel (The Whiskey Wash). Other descriptions include a creamy texture with flavors of pear, vanilla, and barley, with a backdrop of spicy black pepper and cinnamon.

The finish is characterized by a touch of wispy smoke and a medium burn, and transitions from fruity to slightly smoky with a hint of citrus.

In 1820, the young farmer’s son started his own grocer’s shop in the thriving town of Kilmarnock. His father had died the year before and the farm sold. It was a tough start in life, but there was always something special about John. A glint in his eye. A fire in his belly. For over two centuries Johnnie Walker has been committed to a spirit of progress, inspiring people to Keep Walking towards a more positive future. Our latest global campaign 'Keep Walking' reflects the energy, words and thoughts of cultural icons and pioneers who share this positive spirit.
