Green Label

The aroma opens with a subtle hint of smoke, not overtly peaty at first. It features a complex layer of pineapple caramelized on the grill, giving it a toasty, yet not overly sweet, scent.

On the palate, the slight smokiness continues, but remains mild, allowing the malted character to shine. The mouthfeel is light, yet super coating, with the smoke clinging more than the sweetness, hinting at a depth that is robust yet not overpowering.

The finish allows the peat to build, but it remains pleasant throughout. An almond nuttiness joins the smoky profile as it builds, adding an interesting layer to the taste.

Johnnie Walker Green Label has been highly rated in the past, including a score of 95 points in the 2010 edition of Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible, demonstrating its quality and the high regard it holds within the whisky community.
