Single Malt Scotch Whisky 15 Years of Age

The nose is creamy and rich, marked by buttery overtones that blend seamlessly with hints of dried fruits such as almonds and a subtle spiciness. The aroma is complex and enticing, hinting at the sophisticated flavours to come.

The palate features a delightful interplay of fruit and nut, with a pronounced flavour of ripe orchard fruits like apples and pears. This fruity sweetness is complemented by an undercurrent of spicy nuttiness, offering a rounded and robust flavour profile.

The finish of this Scotch is smooth and lingering, characterized by a warm, spiced sweetness that recalls the rich influence of the French oak in which it was matured. It leaves behind a satisfying trace of almond and spice, making each sip memorable.

The Glenlivet is one of the most famous names in the Scotch whisky industry, renowned for its high-quality single malt whiskies. The distillery was founded by George Smith in the early 19th century in the Speyside region of Scotland. Smith was among the first to obtain a legal distilling license in 1824, following the Excise Act of 1823, which made it easier for distillers in Scotland to operate legally and profitably.
