Glen Scotia is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in the historic whisky-producing region of Campbeltown, located on the Kintyre Peninsula. Our distillery has an illustrious past and rich history, with our story beginning in 1832. Our distillery still maintains much of its original design, including the fermenters, stillhouse and Dunnage Warehouse. Glen Scotia offers a variety of expressions, both peated and unpeated single malts, including core range releases, limited editions and unique single casks. A dram of Glen Scotia single malt is a window through time to a traditional Campbeltown signature whisky.
The Glen Scotia Campbeltown Malts Festival 2023 Limited Edition offers a rich and enticing sensory profile. The nose begins with warming spiced stone fruit, dominated by stewed white peach and cloves, layered with a fresh hint of lemongrass and a subtle mineral essence. On the palate, it delivers a luxurious blend of molasses and caramel sweetness, beautifully intertwined with notes of prune and fig, complemented by waxed wood and sandalwood spice. The finish is long and fragrant, seamlessly continuing the complexity of the palate with a persistent and elegant aftertaste. This whisky embodies a unique fusion of traditional Campbeltown character and innovative cask finishing, providing a distinct tasting experience.
