Francois van Niekerk Wines is a boutique South African wine producer crafting limited-edition, ultra-premium wines and whisky that reflect precision, passion, and place. Founded by winemaker Francois van Niekerk, the brand is rooted in decades of experience, deep respect for nature, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
From the very first vintage in 2019, the flagship Pinotage has captured the attention of critics and connoisseurs alike—each release awarded 5 Stars in the Platter’s Wine Guide, with multiple ABSA Top 10 accolades.
Inspired by the untamed beauty of the Cape’s coastal terroirs and guided by a winemaking philosophy that values integrity over volume, Francois van Niekerk Wines is a reflection of craftsmanship and character. With every bottle, the brand offers a taste of South Africa’s finest vineyards, shaped by heritage, elevated by innovation, and designed to leave a lasting impression.
Complementing this is our Francois van Niekerk 8-Year Single Barrel Single Malt Whisky, distilled locally and matured in a single oak barrel for a full eight years. This product is a small-batch, luxury release – born from our winemaking philosophy and commitment to quality. It speaks to South Africa’s emerging premium whisky scene and has received strong interest both locally and abroad.
