Flor de Cana is one of Latin Americas's most prestigious rums, and has won a huge number of awards, medals and commendations in the last few years. It is owned and produced by Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua, which was founded in 1890 (although Flor de Cana was not marketed commercially until 1937).
Flor de Caña 25 Year Old is an ultra-premium Nicaraguan rum, naturally aged for 25 years in American white oak bourbon barrels without the addition of sugar or artificial ingredients. This rum exhibits a deep amber hue and offers a complex flavor profile. The palate reveals fruity notes of almonds and nuts, complemented by a full and long finish that lingers on the palate. The aroma is exquisite, featuring notes of vanilla, wood, and dark cocoa. This rum is best enjoyed neat in a snifter glass to fully appreciate its intricate flavors.
