Reposado Tequila

The aroma of Espolon Reposado is inviting with hints of vanilla and spices, alongside a noticeable presence of cooked agave.

On the palate, this tequila is bold and complex, characterized by rich roasted agave flavours. Accompanying the agave are notes of sweet tropical fruits and vanilla, with warm spices like cinnamon adding depth. This combination delivers a medium to full-bodied taste that is both vibrant and satisfying.

The finish is long and spicy, with a smooth transition that retains the sweet and spicy characteristics of the palate, providing a well-rounded and enjoyable end to the sip.

Maestro Cirilo's career wasn't inspired by a taste of phenomenal tequila. Quite the opposite: he had brought a bottle of tequila to a part and it was, in a word, horrendous. It was so fiery, jagged-edged, careless and lazy that it was an injustice to the tequila makers of generations past. All of his friends at the part were drinking branding, which they saw as exotic because it was made outside Mexico. It was at that moment the Cirilo knew that with a little effort and resourcefulness, he could make a tequila that saluted ancestral traditions, yet wasn't bound to them.
