It was founded following a serendipitous meeting between Shane Smith and Shaun Bebington. Their shared passion for quality spirits and craftsmanship drove them to create a distillery that focuses on artisanal, handcrafted products.
Caspyn West Coast Dry Gin is crafted with a distinct blend of 12 botanicals, including locally foraged Western Cape Fynbos, Rooibos, and Honeybush, along with a unique local shrub called Pelargonium Citronellum. This composition gives the gin a refreshing and crisp profile, complemented by a citrusy background and subtle floral notes.
