The Balvenie is a range of single malt whiskies crafted by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE. Each expression is unique, but all are rich, luxuriously smooth and underpinned by a distinctive honeyed character.

Matured in traditional whisky oak casks before a finish in casks that previously held Caribbean rum, the result is a Scotch that combines the typical Balvenie style with exotic notes from the rum, enhancing the overall flavor profile. This whisky is particularly appreciated for its smoothness and the innovative cask finish that adds depth and a touch of the tropics.

Nose:

The aroma of this whisky is rich with sweet notes of tropical fruits, primarily mango and pineapple, complemented by a strong undercurrent of toffee and vanilla. The Caribbean rum casks contribute to a round, lush bouquet that also hints at a subtle spiciness and oak.

Palate:

On the palate, Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask offers a smooth and creamy texture with flavors of sweet vanilla, ripe fruits, and a blend of caramel and toffee. There's a noticeable influence of rum which brings additional sweetness and complexity to the traditional malty and honeyed character of Balvenie. This harmonious blend of flavors makes it exceptionally enjoyable and easy to drink.

Finish:

The finish is long and sweet, with lingering notes of vanilla and caramel, along with a hint of spice from the rum casks. This ensures a warm and satisfying end to a delightful tasting experience.
