Land Cask

This whisky begins with a nose of vanilla and sweet smoke, enriched by a gentle tangy and candied orange aroma, giving it a complex and inviting start.

On the palate, the Aerstone Land Cask presents a rich and silky smooth texture with a sweet peaty flavor. Notes of brown sugared peat are joined by liquorice, vanilla toffee, salted caramel, and a mix of candied citrus fruits. These flavors are layered with a subtle touch of oak, creating a rich, smoky, and slightly sweet taste profile.

The finish is long and dominated by vanilla sweet peat smoke, which gently fades into lemon citrus and mildly drying oak. This leaves a lasting impression that is both bold and rich, with a satisfying smokiness.

Carefully matured for over 10 years at William Grant & Sons Lowland distillery, perched on the intense environs of the Ayrshire coast, Scotland. Some of our whiskies are aged in a warehouse located by the sea. This impacts the maturation process and delivers a smooth whisky with a hint of sea salt. Further inland, our whiskies mature in warehouses where the sea has less of an influence on flavour. These whiskies are more peated, and have a rich and smoky character.
