In 2015 two Dave’s Wibberley and Nel set out to change the way people looked at a bottle of wine. Spider Pig Wines was the result based on the simple premise that great wine should create wine lovers rather than scare them away. Since then we’re all about producing quality and removing snobbery. Inviting engaging not intimidating. And as the demand for our wines has increased so have the many fantastic winemakers that we work with. So every bottle of Spider Pig has been made with a winemaker who shares this vision. A vision where what’s outside is fun but what’s inside is serious.
Description
Crisp, light and fruity, light mid palate, candy floss, blood orange and strawberry flavours. Dry fresh finish. An absolutely crackling wine, this. And very comfortable in its own pink skin. Bro/Zay celebrates the bromance. And the lady-bromance. Even thee No-mance. It's a light, fresh, delicious Rosé for everyone and every daytime occasion. Pool time - excellent. Lunchtime - winning. Summertime - invented for it. Heck, we've even heard of a few bottles that have perished at breakfast. Probably because this wine pairs well with unabashed joy and good times. The label was about originally getting a farmer in flannel shirt holding a pig and a Pitchfork. We then reassessed that we actually had the name Bro/Zay for the wine and saw an opportunity for some further merchandise production and put Dave 'Red Beard' as the guy holding the actual spider pig wearing a white T which he normally wears. To make it more authentic.
Food Pairing
Spider Pig pairs well with all things pork, so think pork chops with mustard sauce and pork bangers, but in this case if you divert to cheese or fish dishes, it'll be great too.
