"The aromatics on the 2024 are incredibly taut, tight and restrained, almost smoky from the dusty granitic spice, with hints of saline blackcurrant, maritime sea breeze, lead pencil cedar and nori kelpy spice. The texture is tight-grained, stony and finely polished, with powdery tannins, fresh linear acidity and a chiselled, nervy finish. Impressive purity, with blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry wrapped in a suave, chalky mineral frame. All the class and sophistication you would want from a premium Cabernet Franc. Drink on release to 2040+." – Greg Sherwood MW, Wine Safari, 95 points

On the palate

Dark blueberry and bramble fruit meet pencil lead, capsicum, rose petals and exotic spice. The juicy, medium-to-full-bodied palate brings red currant, liquorice and earthy notes, with silky tannins, fresh acidity and a lingering finish of dark chocolate, vanilla and graphite. If you enjoy layered, mineral-driven Cabernet Franc with a savoury edge, this is a compelling choice.
