The Marathon exhibits an incredibly dense purple to black colour. Abundant primary aromas of sweet cassis, cherry preserve, blackcurrant that transcends to warm espresso roast, graphite, liquorice and camphor. The oak is beautifully integrated and brings great warmth and weight to the wine. The addition of Cabernet Sauvignon brings richness and individuality to this unique blend. On the palate, the Marathon is full-bodied with some power, yet it shows a majestic richness and extraordinary elegance that makes the wine accessible immediately.
