MASCIARELLI Tenute Agricole was established in 1981 from the entrepreneurial intuition of Gianni Masciarelli, a symbol of Italian wine and protagonist of the success of modern wine production in Abruzzo. The beating heart of the winery is in San Martino sulla Marrucina, in the province of Chieti, and includes vineyards and olive groves, in all 4 provinces of Abruzzo.
Description
Deep ruby red, with an intense and very fine bouquet. Notes of cherry, currants and violets, enhanced by a slight scent of cocoa and vanilla, open up to a balanced, tasty palate full of details. Deep and harmonious, it closes with a finish of rare clarity.
Food Pairing
Served with all courses of a meal, it pairs well with char-grilled meats and structured mains in general. Try with fillet steak with black truffle.
