Lafazanis Winery, established in 1946 by Vasilis Lafazanis, is a historic and prestigious winery located in the Nemea region of Greece. Now managed by the third generation of the Lafazanis family, the winery has evolved significantly over the years. It originally began in Piraeus and later moved to its current location in the village of Archaies Kleones (ancient Cleonae) in Nemea. Lafazanis Winery is known for its commitment to quality and tradition, utilizing handpicked organic grapes from local varieties to produce their wines. The winery's facilities blend modern technology with traditional wine-making methods, and it's surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.
Description
Appearance: Pale lemon. Nose: Floral aromas and strong elements of a variety of citrus fruits, with notes of pepper and ginger. Palate: Dry, medium acidity, medium bodied and high intensity, Noticable, peppery finish. Character of white rose and citrus flower. Details of juicy grapefruit and sanguine, touches of orange peel and lemon zest. Notes of ginger and white pepper.
