Fuselage Wines
Fuselage Wines is a distinctive South African winery named after the body of an airplane. Based just off the apron of the Diemerskraal airfield, reflecting the owners' passion for both winemaking and aviation. The winery was founded by Danie Morkel, who is also known for his work with Roodekrantz Wines. The brand embraces a unique thematic approach by naming its wines after aviation terms and themes and focussing on Paarl terroir. Most grapes are planted and grown on the property and some special parcels sourced nearby to best reflect the region’s unique qualities and taste.
Description
Cerise-edged, mid-crimson. Slightly smoky red fruit aromas, whiffs of raspberry, hints of bruised currants. Pretty and plush, the freshness morphing into a Ribena-like juiciness. Succulent.
Food Pairing
