Elgin Ridge wines are named after the altitude of the vineyard namely 282 meters above sea level. This ensures the Atlantic breezes cool the grapes during the day creating balanced wines with good fruit fine acidity and minerality. Our certified organic farm produces excellent fruit so minimal intervention is required in the cellar.
Description
Colour: Light hay. Nose: Starts off with fresh and linear lime tension and opens up to citrus blossoms. Palate: The pithy texture keeps the sweet citrus fruits tightly knit at first. With more oxygen entering the wine in your glass, the pithy texture opens up to a velvet-like mouthfeel and leaves you with a wine that will continue to change in aroma expression as time passes.
