Since 1976 and over the years, we have worked in the most reasoned way possible, respecting our vines and our terroirs. Our goal is to obtain very healthy grapes, in order to produce fine, structured, complex wines with a beautiful harmony. On the Estate, the grapes are harvested manually in order to have the healthiest fruit possible before being put in the vats. The Domaine des Nugues is located in Lancié in the North of Beaujolais, bordering the Moulin à Vent, Fleurie and Morgon vintages.
Description
A jammy Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau with more depth and concentration than your usual. Deep-intensity purple in colour this wine has an aromatic nose of raspberry jam, pureed blueberry, black plum, red cherry, red currant, dried violet petal and blackberry. On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavours suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin. The mid palate oscillates back and forth between raspberry and ripe, red cherry, ultimate completing with a floral, medium-plus finish.
