Chablis 1er Cru Fourneaux

From seafood to andouillette chablisienne, snails, curried lamb, fish with sorrel or Comté.

The age of the vineyard is between 20 and 40 years. Calcareous soil.

Matured in oak, neutral oak casks for 12 months.

Harvested by hand, it is vinified in temperature-controlled steel. Matured in large barrels for 4/6 months, then bottled for at least another 9 months

The Gautheron family has tended vines in Chablis for five generations. Alain Gautheron his wife and their son carry on these traditions at this splendid family wine estate. The family follows the Lutte Raisonnée philosophy in their vineyards.
