Domaine Albert Morot produces 10 appellations farmed organically on 8 hectares (20 acres) which presents Beaune and its terroirs through a common denominator: Full-bodied wines with agreeably fruity aromas; pure racy wines that express each terroir‘s distinctive qualities. The domaine also boasts one of the best plots in Savigny-lès-Beaune and a small Pommard production.
Description
Vintage 2020 impenetrable purplish; very delicate nose, sprinkled with violet petals in maceration and with a set of tasty dark plum and blueberry, with a nice density, but without ever exceeding the tones of a sparkling class, for overall balance; balance that we magically find in a coherent taste, which does not skimp on a present, rigorous, tasty, structuring tannic displacement; all in a context of floral whispers and caressed by convincing tartaric acid and sapidity, stylized and artfully managed to generate gustatory pleasure and length in the finish.
