Currently, in their fourth generation, the Graaff’s can be attributed many successes, including supplying electricity to the city of Cape Town for the first time, building the biggest refrigeration company in the early 1900s called Imperial Cold Storage, the 1st Baronet was even the mayor of Cape Town at the age of 32. Description
A crisp, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc showing lifted notes of citrus and tropical fruit. The nose offers fresh lime, gooseberry and passion fruit, supported by subtle green herb nuances. The palate is light to medium bodied with bright acidity, clean fruit expression and a refreshing, dry finish that highlights the wine’s cool-climate origin.
Food Pairing
An excellent match for fresh seafood, oysters, grilled fish, salads and goat’s cheese. Its acidity and freshness also make it suitable as an aperitif.
