Sauvignon Blanc

Pairs well with shellfish, grilled fish with citrus dressings, goat’s cheese, fresh salads, or light poultry dishes—foods that complement its bright acidity and aromatic profile.

Grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc are grown on the high-altitude vineyards of the Cederberg Private Cellar estate. These sites benefit from cool continental influences with significant diurnal temperature shifts that preserve acidity and aromatic purity in the fruit.

This wine is typically made in a reductive style to enhance primary fruit aromatics, with gentle handling and cool fermentation to retain freshness and crisp acidity.

Cederberg is a high-altitude wine estate in the remote Cederberg Wilderness Area, owned by the Nieuwoudt family for generations. With vineyards surrounded by rugged mountain terrain, the estate is known for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and other South African wines shaped by altitude, isolation and dramatic growing conditions.
