Each variety was harvested separately at varying stages. Grenache and Syrah underwent whole-bunch fermentation, while Cinsault and Mourvèdre were crushed and destemmed. Each batch fermented separately in open-top fermenters with natural yeast. A short post-fermentation maceration occurred before pressing and transferring to 500L and 300L barrels for malolactic fermentation. The wine spent an additional 8 months in barrel before final blending and bottling.

Grapes are sourced from vineyards located at the foot of the Du Toitskloof Pass in Paarl, South Africa. The vineyards are planted in granite-rich soils with clay and quartz, offering high water retention properties essential during the warm summer months. Vines are situated between 220 and 330 meters above sea level, exposed to strong winds that naturally reduce yields and provide a cooling influence in Paarl's warm, dry climate. The estate practices sustainable farming, utilizing natural predators instead of pesticides, and all vines are hand-harvested.

Matured for 8 months in 500L and 300L barrels following malolactic fermentation.
