Brookdale extends over 80 hectares with 27 planted to vine and the remainder left to revert to its natural habitat. Since the Rudd family began their stewardship of Brookdale, all alien vegetation has been cleared, valleys have been re-planted with 3600 indigenous trees and mountain slopes re-seeded with wild Cape fynbos and flowers. Bird and animal life are as rich and abundant. Every season brings different moods, different hues and different lives.

The 2025 Brookdale Estate Mason Road Chenin Blanc offers a fragrant and inviting profile, opening with notes of honeysuckle and pear drop. The palate evolves into an electric current of tropicality, reminiscent of an island storm, delivering a vibrant and fresh experience. Layered with golden apple, brioche, butter, and a hint of ginger spice, the wine concludes with a pineapple-painted finish and mouthwatering, nutty sapidity. This Chenin Blanc showcases exuberant notes of juicy tropical fruits, apple purity, and pear freshness, all layered with salty minerality and creamy undertones, culminating in a lime-kissed finish.
