Vin Rosé

The subtly of flavour makes it a perfect first-wine of theday, but it also pairs superbly with roast poultry, charcuterie and harder cheeses.

The vineyards grow in deep red clay soils, 18km from the WestCoast of the Cape. Grapes are harvested, crushed andfermented dry in stainless steel, then aged in old 500L barrelsfor 12 months.

Alphabetical wines are made as naturally as possible, fromvineyards farmed without pesticides or insecticides and withminimal interference in the cellar.

Alphabetical is an independent South African wine producer. Rather than own land we work with farms usually owned or managed by close friends parternships that are key to our success. We have as much hands-on involvement wherever possible whether it be chucking grapes into the press and sorting berries at harvest pouring at a dinner or personally delivering wine to keep customers happy. The operation is run by David Cope who has been working with wine since 2004 and has an irreducible passion for the industry its people and the more interesting wines created around the world.
