Specifications:

13.00% alc vol Sugar g/l: N/A
Type: Red Wine Maturation Potential: 15 yrs
Origin: Burgundy Appellation: Beaune 1er Cru

Winemaker's comments:

"There is moderate wood influence on the ripe dark cherry, cassis and violet-scented nose. The rich, round and distinctly suave middle weight flavors exhibit touches of minerality and bitter cherry on the dusty and mildly austere and edgy finish. This is certainly pretty but the balance isn't perfect as I suspect the edginess will remain even with age." AM

Cultivar:

100% Pinot Noir

Rating:

88-91 Points - Allen Meadows

Specifications:

13.00% alc vol Sugar g/l: N/A
Type: Red Wine Maturation Potential: 15 yrs
Origin: Burgundy Appellation: Beaune 1er Cru

Winemaker's comments:

"There is a top note of menthol to the very ripe aromas of cassis, plum, black cherry and earth. The velvety and very suave middle weight flavors possess plenty of palate coating dry extract that buffers the moderately firm tannic spine on the less overtly extracted finish." AM

Specifications:

13.00% alc vol Sugar g/l: N/A
Type: Red Wine Maturation Potential: 15 yrs
Origin: Burgundy Appellation: Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru

Winemaker's comments:

Dark ruby red with intense purple reflections. Expressive with toasted and dark fruit aromas (blueberry, black cherry, blackcurrant) evolving into floral notes with aeration. Generous, rich and ample palate with black fruit and liquorice notes. Dense on the finish with embracing and warm tannins.

Cultivar:

100% Pinot Noir

Rating:

91-94 Points - Allen Meadows

Specifications:

13.00% alc vol Sugar g/l: N/A
Type: Red Wine Maturation Potential: 25 yrs
Origin: Burgundy Appellation: Clos Vougeot Grand Cru

Winemaker's comments:

Beautiful intense dark red. Great complexity and harmony with notes of black fruits (blueberry, black cherry), refreshing and profound spices evolving into leather and tobacco. Dense, deep and flavourful with notes of fresh black berries and showing a great maturity thanks to peppery and menthol notes. Rich, fresh and warm on the finish with spicy tannins.

100% Pinot Noir

Rating:

92-94 Points - Allen Meadows

Specifications:

13.00% alc vol Sugar g/l: N/A
Type: Red Wine Maturation Potential: 15 yrs
Origin: Burgundy Appellation: Volnay 1er Cru

Winemaker's comments:

"Sweet Spot! Outstanding! Subtle but not invisible oak easily allows the liqueur-like black cherry, spice, lavender and a whisper of dried mandarin orange peel to be appreciated. There is excellent density to the sleekly muscular and mineral-driven flavors that possess an even finer mouth feel while delivering notably better depth and length on the powerful and built-to-age finale. This is absolutely going to require extended patience but it should very much be worth the wait." AM

Cultivar:

100% Pinot Noir

Rating:

92 Points - Wine Spectator

Specifications:

13.00% alc vol Sugar g/l: N/A
Type: Red Wine Maturation Potential: 15 yrs
Origin: Burgundy Appellation: Volnay 1er Cru

Winemaker's comments:

"A top note in the form of Maraschino cherry adds a touch of elegance to the essence of dark currant, plum and spice-suffused aromas. There is lovely vibrancy to the focused and well-delineated middle weight flavors that display more obvious minerality on the dusty, austere and slightly dry finale. This is pretty though once again the balance isn't quite ideal." AM
