Glen Scotia is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in the historic whisky-producing region of Campbeltown, located on the Kintyre Peninsula. Our distillery has an illustrious past and rich history, with our story beginning in 1832. Our distillery still maintains much of its original design, including the fermenters, stillhouse and Dunnage Warehouse. Glen Scotia offers a variety of expressions, both peated and unpeated single malts, including core range releases, limited editions and unique single casks. A dram of Glen Scotia single malt is a window through time to a traditional Campbeltown signature whisky.
Glen Scotia Victoriana offers a rich and indulgent sensory experience, perfectly capturing the essence of its Campbeltown roots. The nose opens with enticing aromas of brown sugar and cinnamon, complemented by hot salted caramel and a touch of mint, creating a sweet and inviting start. As you sip, the palate unfolds with complex layers of salted caramel and rich coffee notes, followed by mocha and a subtle undertone of chocolate almond milk, reminiscent of a luxurious breakfast. The experience rounds out with a finish that is both salty and sharp, leaving a lingering mint freshness. This whisky's robust flavours and higher proof make it a delightful exploration of traditional Scotch with a modern twist.
