Tasting Notes:

The wine’s bouquet is fruity with cassis, mulberry and plum. The palate is full with fine tannins and an excellent balance.

Today, the traditional dedication to the art of winemaking continues under the guidance of Hannes Myburgh, eighth generation custodian of this seventeenth-century national monument.

Decomposed granite mixed with clay.

Fermentation in open steel tanks for 7 days. After pressing, the wine was settled and underwent malo-lactic fermentation in the tanks.

Matured in 300 litre Nevers oak casks for 18 months and for 2 years in the bottle before release.
