Pink is the belle of any ball and her exquisite hue conjures up romantic images of fair maidens, dashing knights and mythical dragons She’s our youthful, perfectly pink méthode cap classique and she’s completely captivating. Pink spends time on the skins, for colour, and is bottle-fermented (in the traditional manner) for at least 12 months. You can expect a rosy pink colour with flavours of freshly picked berries and an explosion of strawberry and raspberry on the palate. Wow!





Môreson is a little slice of magic. A tranquil paradise located at the end of the aptly named Happy Valley Road. The Môreson environment is the perfect retreat from the hectic pace of modern day life. The atmosphere and setting will transport you back to a time when your life was less cluttered. You will find that shortly after arriving you are standing a little taller, walking a little slower and smiling a lot more. The vineyards are situated on a Northern Slope in the Franschhoek Valley. This specific vineyard experiences cool morning conditions which result in slow ripening and better phenolic ripeness.

Grapes are whole bunch pressed using traditional French Champagne pressing cycles. Only 550 liter of juice per ton of grapes is extracted. The base wine juice is fermented warm at 17⁰C to encourage neutral flavours that will express the yeasty type character of Chardonnay once matured.

The base wine is matured on its lees for a few months. After blending Pink is bottled for secondary fermentation. Maturation takes place, in the bottle on lees, for a minimum period of 12 months.
