The commune of Savigny-lès-Beaune is located above between Aloxe Corton and Pernand Vergelesses, in the north of the Côte de Beaune. Savigny produces exclusively red wines under the village and premier cru appellations. "Les Lavières" lies near the commune of Pernand, bordering Les Vergelesses vineyard.

The vineyard has south, south-east, east and north-east exposure and is situated between 220 and 360m. The chalk soil is gravely or stony, light and infertile.

The fermentation takes place in vats for 3-4 weeks.

Matured in oak barrels for 12-15 months.
